Q. Is this Soft Kennel approved for flights or meet IATA approved standards?

A. After calling the manufacturer Bono Fido I was told that this kennel/crate is not recommended for airline travel and will most likely not be allowed by airlines.

We would suggest these airline approved carriers instead.

Q. Would this Extra Large Soft Kennel Dog Crate be suitable for a border collie/kelpie cross (or would the large be sufficient)?

A. Both the large or extra-large soft crates should be fine, but If you intend to get the large size its best to measure the dog's height to be sure, as dog heights can vary. The large crate is 58 cm high, so it likely has a 56 cm high internal clearance (or thereabouts). Just be sure that your dog is under 56 cm in height. Also to be totally sure, you may want to measure the length of the dog and compare it with the length of the crate.
