Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Which brand of Timothy hay do you recommend, Peters Timothy & Rye or Oxbow?
A. From the feedback we have received most report that the Oxbow hay is more soft and green and hence more palatable to their rabbits. This may be due to the fact that Oxbow Timothy Hay is grown in the US where it seems to grow better relative to the Australian grown Peter's Brand. However, to be fair we have customers who are loyal to both brands. We do on the rare occasion get feedback from customers that they are disappointed with the quality of Peter's Timothy Hay. Since this happens more often with Peter's brand, we generally recommend the Oxbow branded timothy hay to our customers.
