Times Up Rodent Bait Station

73266

The Times Up Rodent Bait Station features a strong plastic, lockable casing which keeps baits away from children and pets. This is a universal model which fits all brands of bait blocks and throw packs. Note bait is sold separately.

The Rodent Bait Station is designed to help protect children, pets and non-targeted animals from contact with the bait. The semi-clear box also enables easy visibility of bait take. The Rodent Bait Station can be used with loose or block baits.

  • Reusable with lock and key feature.
  • Ideal for both rats and mice.
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The Rodent Bait Station is safer for children and non-targeted animals (including pets) than unprotected poison baits and break-back rodent traps. It is designed to reduce the risk of accidental contact with poison bait. As it is designed for rats as well as mice this station will not prevent access to the trap by smaller children's hands.
It may not withstand a prolonged attack by a larger, hungry animal or other determined force.
When using loose baits, there is a risk that the contents may be tipped out by an animal or person. If any of these situations is considered possible, move the bait station to areas away from reach by children and non-targeted animals.

Directions for use

  1. Open the station with the key which can be found attached to the underside of the bait station
  2. Load the bait station with your preferred choice of bait. When using loose bait the block bait pins can be removed
  3. Close the lid, and move the station as required. The key should be kept in a safe place away from the station

Place the Bait Station where there are signs of rat activity, such as fresh droppings, burrows, or rodent feeding places. Ideal positions are against walls, under sheds/ decking, or behind lean-to boards to protect from weather. To maximize bait take, ensure that all other food sources (e.g. bird feeders/household rubbish) are removed.
Inspect the rat bait regularly, preferably every 1-2 days. Rats are cautious animals and may take several days to accept the new food source. Avoid moving or touching the bait station in the first 2-3 days. If all the bait has been eaten and rodent activity continues, replace the bait in the station and consider placing others nearby until no further rodent activity is observed.
