A hospital B grade disinfectant which kills bacteria, viruses and fungi on contact and is effective in up to 20% organic matter, making it perfect for ‘dirty’ situations. For cages, perches, toys, food and water containers, hand rearing equipment and in animal hospital areas, hospital cages, brooders and incubators.

Avicare Concentrate by Vetafarm.

Avicare kills bacteria, viruses and fungi on contact and is effective in up to 20% organic matter, making it perfect for ‘dirty’ situations. (“Hospital B” standards of disinfection).

Avicare can be used for disinfection of cages, perches, toys, food and water containers, hand rearing equipment and also suitable for use in animal hospital areas, hospital cages, brooders and incubators.

Stock Availability: This item is not usually kept in stock and will take about 1 to 4 days to get in. New Vetafarm stock arrives every Tuesday and Friday.

Size Guide:

  • Ready To Use - 500mL Spray Pack.
  • Concentrate - 100mL, 500mL, 5L.

Concentrate: Dilute with water 1:50 prior to use. (For example 20mL/L).

Ready to Use: Remove gross contamination (e.g. faeces, leftover food, bedding etc) spray with Avicare, allow 5 minutes for disinfection to occur and then use as normal.

Active Constituents: 50g/L Benzalkonium Chloride, 25g/L Sulfamic Acid.
