Q. What size feeder would you recommended for 3 backyard chooks?
A. There is no ideal size, but 2 factors to consider when picking a size are, will it fit nicely in the coop without taking up too much space and how often you would like to refill the feeder? Adult chickens eat about 400g of feed a day and some feed will also be wasted. For simplicities sake, lets just say that 500g of feed is used per day, therefore your 3 chooks would use about 1.5kg per day or 10.5kg per week. If you got a 12 kg feeder, you would most likely have to re-fill the feeder once per week.

Q. Are the incubators you stock suitable for parrot eggs like Eclectus to macaw eggs?
A. Apparently, all our incubators would be suitable for such parrot eggs. Also, I would suggest testing the incubator with cheaper birds before using it for expensive birds like macaws just in case something goes wrong with your first attempt at hatching.
Q. Are any of your incubators Australian made?
A. None of our incubators are Australian made since such an incubator would be very expensive and hard to sell that price.
Q. Do you sell any 12-volt incubators?
A. All our current incubators are 220V and we don't stock any 12V. Our supplier says he can source a 12V incubator but the quality is not very good (9/12/16)
Q. Are these incubators suitable for reptile eggs?
A. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find a certain answer to this question to date.
Q. Do these incubators have a fan that blows air to make sure the humidity is more evenly spread in the incubator?
A. Yes, each incubator does have a fan to circulate air.
Q. Are wood shavings suitable for both mice and poultry as bedding and in the nest box?
A . Yes they are both suitable.
Its great price and viewing window makes this incubator ideal for kids and adults alike to experience the life cycle of eggs and poultry.
