Frequently Asked Questions?

Q. Can this supplement be given to poultry and if so how do i apply it?

A. According to the manufacturer: This product is suitable for layer, show and breeding poultry of all varieties. Pink vitamin and minerals can be added daily to the feed to supplement calcium deficiencies or once to twice a week under normal conditions. Dosage can vary but for average usage 5 grams (teaspoon) per kg of feed is sufficient. Alternatively the seed can also be mixed with a suitable oil before application to increase palatability (see above).

Q. Can this supplement be given to smaller birds like finches, budgies, cockatiels etc and if so how do i apply it?

A. According to the manufacturer: Yes pink vitamins and minerals can be given to such birds, but please keep in mind that these birds are ISO sensitive (sensitive to calcium) so it should only be administered to such birds once per week at the very most or twice a week when breeding. Dosage can vary but for average usage 5 grams (teaspoon) per kg of feed is sufficient.

Q. What is the best way to apply this product for larger parrots?

Q. Have you got a vitamin and mineral powder similar to this one but more suitable for finches?
