This treated Orchid Mix by is a mixture of fine, medium and coarse Radiata Pine bark, mixed with a selection of treated / semi-treated bark, gravels, sel-grit, canunda shells, dolomite and limestone. This mix is suitable for all orchids including cymbidiums, native orchids and miniatures.

Q. Is this product suitable for orchid seedlings and what happened to Misc Orchid Seedling Mix?
A. The manufacturer has combined the Semi-Treated Misc Orchid Mix which had larger bark pieces with the Fully Treated Orchid Seedling Mix which had smaller bark pieces to create this new product. Furthermore, this new product is now fully treated to make it suitable for seedlings and most orchids. However, the manufacturer also suggests that for small seedlings it's best to remove the larger pieces of bark before application.
Q. Is the miscellaneous orchid mix suitable for Phalaenopsis Orchids?
A. I got this answer from the manufacturer "Yes it would be fine, maybe just pick any of the bigger bits of bark out, could add roughly 15% of jumbo perlite to the mix as well"
Q. What Orchid mix do you suggest for Dendrobium Orchids?
A. The manufacturer Orchid Care Services suggested Miscellaneous Orchid Mix 30 Litre as a suitable mix for Dendrobium Orchids.
