Dakpot Refill (Available in a single pack and great value double pack)
This refill suits the Dakpot Trap as described below.
Dakpot Fruit Fly Lure & Insecticide Trap:
Trap contains a mix of a sex attractant and an insecticide. Only the male flies are attracted, they feed on the mixture, fall to the bottom of the pot and die. It is recommended that the pots be emptied daily and the flies counted, this allows early detection of an infestation and therefore early intervention.
For control of fruit fly, these pots should be used in conjunction with the Dakpot Lure or other cover sprays or splash sprays as recommended by your state agricultural authority.
Each lure will last a season, replace the lure each spring. Traps should be left out all year to reduce the number of males. The manufacturers recommend 2 pots for an average residential block
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Crop: Fruit trees Pest: Male Queensland Fruit Fly Rate: Two traps for areas less than 0.2 ha, otherwise 4 per ha.
Remove the used felt from the underside of the lid of the Dak-pot Lure & Insecticide Trap C165. Use gloves or pliers to avoid contact with your skin. Dispose of the used felt as described in the instructions for disposal below.
Open one side of the bag inside this pack with scissors. Grasp the new felt through the opened bag and insert it into the slot in the lid. Screw the lid back onto the jar.
Hang the trap in the fruit tree at head height and in the shade. Inspect it daily by unscrewing the jar. Remove dead fruit flies; take care not to transfer a chemical from the felt onto the outside of the trap. Replace felts each springtime.
