Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. What does it mean by swab animal?

A. It means to apply medication using a swab. A swab is " A small piece of absorbent material attached to the end of a stick or wire and used for cleansing or applying medicine".

Q. Do you have a MSDS for Malaban Wash?

A. We sure do. Click this link to go to a MSDS for Malaban Wash.

Q. Can I use malaban wash on my chooks to stop/kill fleas?

A. Malaban does have the same active ingredient as "poultry dust" so it may work but its not recommended since its not known if its safe for poultry and its not registered for this kind of use. Best to stick with Pestene Powder, Poultry Dust or Diatomaceous Earth for poultry fleas.

Q. Is this substance harmful/poisonous to my dog? After I swab it, what if my dog licks or scratches itself? Should i apply a dog cone to prevent this?

A. As long as this product is applied as directed on the bottle it should be safe to use according to the manufacturer. There is no real need for any extra precautions apart from whats on the label, but thats up to you. Im guessing you are alarmed by the label of "Poison" on the bottle. Please note that this warning mainly refers to the full concentrate, but this product is diluted in water before its applied, so iwouldnt be overly concerned about that.
