Questions & Answers:

Q. How many chooks is this coop suitable for?

A. In our opinion this coop would be suitable for 3 to 4 free range chickens. Maybe at a push 5 hens could be housed in this coop but its not ideal. Obviously this coop should only be used for the hens to sleep in at night and is not meant to be an all day enclosure.

Q. How easy is it to move this chicken coop?

A. This coop weighs about 37 kg so will require at least 2 people to move it. Since it is quite solid it can be lifted by 2 or 3 people without putting too much pressure on its structure. However care will still be be needed when lifting it and be sure not to lift the coop from the nest box side.

Q. I can not see any windows for this coop, could ventilation be an issue?

A. This coop has slight gaps between most timber panels which should provide enough ventilation under normal conditions.
